Senior Adults

Nurturing lifelong practices of care, connection, and spiritual companionship.

We value the enduring faith, curiosity, and mentorship senior adults bring to the CPC community. We create social and educational spaces for our seniors to connect, reflect, and be open to how the Gospel is moving in all stages of life.

Opportunities to Connect

Through engaging events, Bible studies, and community groups, senior adults can deepen their friendships and grow closer to Christ.

Edynamoes

Edynamoes is a dynamic, vibrant community of senior adults that gathers once a month for a shared meal, devotion, faith-based programming, and fellowship.

Senior Visitation

Whether homebound or not, we invite seniors to request a visitor. A volunteer from CPC meets seniors in their place of living about once a month to spend time together and share in fellowship.

STARS (Short Term Assistance Reaching Seniors)

Seniors can request short-term assistance after a health event or life change, and volunteers will help with housekeeping, grocery shopping, transportation, etc.

CPC Gardening & Maintenance

Join our seniors who care for the church grounds through regular gardening and building maintenance tasks.

A shared meal

Join us for dinner and get to know others in a relaxed, fun environment. Dinner is served, free of charge.

A reflective video

Each week, we watch a 20-minute video designed to inspire questions and discussion. These short films engage relevant topics like: Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? How can we have faith in our world today?

Group discussion

After watching the video, we break into discussion groups where you can engage in honest conversation with others and process life and faith, sharing as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This often is the portion of the night people most value.
