Looking for a meaningful way to live out your faith and make a positive difference in our city? Serving Saturday is a wonderful opportunity to join other CPCers in serving local non-profits — and we’ll handle the details for you!

We’ll start together at CPC in the Sanctuary at 9:00 AM for a time of orientation and prayer. Then, as a team, we’ll head out to our assigned serving sites and let the Gospel move in our community.

Below are this Fall's serving opportunities. Click the links to learn more about each organization, choose the one you’d like to serve with, and register to join us for a fun morning together!

FreedomWorks - Help sort and organize food donations—including many from CPC’s recent food drive—at Bread of Life, FreedomWorks' on-campus food shelf serving program residents and over 100 local families. You’ll also have a chance to connect with men in the program and learn more about their ministry in North Minneapolis.  Ages 5 and up.

The Dwelling Place- Join us in giving hands and hearts to The Dwelling Place in Mounds View by assisting with light renovation work — patching walls, painting, sweeping, and more — in their upcoming community center project. Be part of building a place for hope, healing, and community for women and children. Ages 8 and up.

Community Emergency Service - CES ensures our Minneapolis neighbors in the Phillips neighborhood have food access. Volunteer by helping prepare food bags used for their regular weekday distribution. Any Age (with adult supervision).

TreeHouse (onsite at CPC) - Join us at CPC to pack “gratitude bags” for 120 teens attending TreeHouse’s annual Thanksgiving event. Serve alongside fellow CPC'ers, TreeHouse staff, and students — and enjoy meaningful connection as you give back together. Any Age.

Fall Clean Up - Bring a rake—we’ll provide the bags! Join us in caring for a CPC member in our community who is unable to tend their yard, including leaf cleanup. Together, we’ll share God’s love through this simple act of service. Any age.
